I'm planning my next project and would like the opinion of others.

I recently added a nearly complete '34 Chevy truck cab, to my back yard. Very little rust, no upholstery and most of the door contents are missing. Even the glass is pretty sound.

However, the cab does not include the fenders.

My intent is to mount this cab on a S10 Frame, with current tech suspension and brakes.

So, my question is the fenders. I've seen pictures of others without fenders, but I really want to license and drive frequently. So, I suspect I really will need fenders. If not original, possibly those of a Motor Cycle or similar, or what other fenders will mount with the cab?

So, what do you think?

No fenders
some similar alternative
some other design, entirely

Thanks for the thoughts, guys..

Please! Don't use good original fenders on your project.

Rusty, you've been around here about long enough to realize that most members are "purists". So, you'll get more help on the H.A.M.B. or other "rod" forums than you'll get here.

You might check with local law requirements about fenders. You may not need 'em to title/drive your finished product.

FWIW, a local guy has a beautiful, original looking '46 1/2 ton Chevy pickup on an S-10 chassis. He spared no expense. The truck looks stock except for the tires/wheels. It is absolutely beautiful.
