The ol' dog muffed up there...
Landau Phaetons did not have landau bars, despite the name.
The rest of what he said was spot on. I never catch him screwing up... the year is off to a great start!

Hi All,
I saw this car at Hershey and it was really needing a lot of help! What you don't see is all the wood which is missing and the [bleeped] work that was done on the inside to keep it together! Might of saved the car.
My 32 roadster has about 10k miles on it and is a lot better car. Don't get me wrong, there is a lot of good information on this car, it's a car which needs everything and a parts car.
If you want more pictures of let me know.

I believe there is a description in the '31 trunk rack thread. The guys that own those cars would know better than me if they are the same for '31 and '32 in each country.

I never thought that I would ever describe any '32, especially a roadster, as UGLY, but this poor baby NEEDS a good VCCA home.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... If I owned that little beauty, I would be tempted to throw a new set of tires on, clean it up, and drive it as is. Maybe a new seat cushion. Obviously you would want to make sure the frame is structurally sound. Something about these old girls is beautiful, even when they do show their age. One of the best rides I've ever had in a vintage Chevy was in this old Landau Phaeton. Her owner won't change a thing because he likes the car as is. Everything is as it was found in a barn in the 1950's. ![[Linked Image from i150.photobucket.com]](http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s84/brewsterg6/1932%20Chevrolet%20Roadster/IMG_2640.jpg)

Brewster - I would "PAY MONEY" to ride in that Landau Survivor!!!! If I had the dinero that lovely ole girl would reside in my barn (somehow). Nice contrast between the two Chevys! Have you ridden in the "new" one yet? I wouldn't pay to ride in it - well not as much at any rate! I really love the Five Passenger Coupes from 1930-1932 & the '33-'34 Five Passenger Coupes are very neat, as well. However, I prefer the 1933 styling over the 1934, personally. Thanks for posting that lovely photo!!!

Oh ya, and if he told you how much he wants or values that 32 at, you might be heading in the back of an ambulance instead to the nearest cardiac ward. mike

The only reason that I wouldn't say that I'd pay to ride in that restored beauty is that Mike is on this forum regularly, and he'll take me up on the offer! I'm still holding out for a free ride!
