Are any parts made for the free whelling pull assembly , and is the chrome cover crimmped on? I can see a small 1/8 inch hole in the bezel and it will move a bit but it wont come off yet... Any Ideas ?? JsK.

Whatever you do, ensure the disable pulls the lever fully down. Mine came just slightly loose causing months of nasty grinding and misdiagnosis.

I like the free wheeling locked out permanently, so I made a clamp device to bolt the lever into the lowest position.

Don't know of any parts being remade. They could be if enough demand which I think will be unlikely.

Ok thanks I havent read any threads on there repair but I thought on the off chance that someone was rebuilding them I would ask. I looked through the f/s catalog and didnt see the knob ither. Im assuming that Ill just clean up what I have and go with it .

They are not an easy find so that may be your best bet for now.
