Being an fairly new not only to VCCA and for sure judging I'd like to hear your experiences in the HPOCF and CDPC classes. I've corresponded with some members who have helped a lot. I have never even attended a VCCA meet but planning to soon. I'm torn between the above mentioned classes with my original un-restored 60 Corvair sedan. Appreciate any input. I do have a judging guidelines booklet. Ed Bittman VCCA#47508 Dade City,Fl

Biggest 2 things with HPOCF is originality and cleanliness.Notice in your judging manual cleanliness in HPOCF is stressed in each of the 4 sections.I've seen dirty [bleeped] cars in HPOCF last few years at meets and still get certified.Just don't bring the paint up to that "Magic Mirror Finish"like the name implies......
CDPC is simply a, "Yeah it looks stock,it's pretty clean, looks like a VCCA type vehicle."
I've done both.If your looking for a more relaxing time just do CDPC.It's at the bottom of the awards pile.No sweat. Jim
