OK, as per the other string about looking at a rough '46 Aerosedan - now I own one.... so a few opening questions.

Wheels: this beastie is presently wearing 15" rims, with the 6 lug original pattern. I assume and believe these cars would have worn 16" wheels and mounted 600 x 16 tires (with tubes of course), yes? And would they have the little clips that hold on the hubcaps? if I'm right about this, I am therefore on the market for 5 good 16" wheels with clips.

Can anyone tell me if the rear fenders are the same 46 - 48? And are they the same for all body styles? If not the same between body styles, what others would be identical to this 46 Aerosedan? And is anybody reproducing these? (fiberglass doesn't count).

Same question for front fenders. Obviously the same for all body styles - but is '46 unique, or the same as 47-48? I suspect there might be a difference at the lower front where the 46 grille comes over the sheet metal.

Many thanks!

The wheels/tires for a 1940-1948 were 16" with the 15" being an option for 1948. Same 16" wheel also used on 1/2 ton trucks.
Rear fenders fit all body styles from 1941-1948.
Front fenders - 1946 only. New 1946 easier to find than 1947-48 due to the 1946 being less common.
