OP sparky Backyard Mechanic Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 241 oklahoma	Hi all! I found this peep mirror at a local swap meet. The seller stated it was for a 40 Chevrolet coupe. GM box with Group # 10.185 & #986178 on box. Can anyone tell me what I bought & if it is correct for a 40 coupe. Thank You! Sparky

Chev Nut ChatMaster - 25,000 Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 30,701 Likes: 141 West Allis,Wi.	985236 is a 1940 mirror. 986178 is a 1949-1950 peep mirror. The 1950 parts book lists it as fitting a 1934-1950 but would be the correct accsssory for 1949 and 1950 only.
