My 1931 Special Sedan has been an on-again, off-again project for nearly twenty years. Yesterday it started on the first attempt after rebuild and reinstallation. My nephew and I anticipated no end of hassle in getting it started what with the many variables involved but it started right up for the first time in about eighteen years.

Now for the questions; what is the recommended break-in oil and what oil pressure should I expect at idle?

Best regards,

Tom

When warm you should see about 5lbs on the gauge.

Note: I made a typo in the title..It should be 1931 not 1331. If I had a 1331 Chevrolet I'd doubtless be due for recognition of having the oldest Chevy on record.

You can actually change the title as the posts continue.
