Hi Everyone. I see that fillingstation sell a waterpump that runs on bearings but is aestetically the same as the one that runs with bushes and the packing. I've been thinking of getting one but my luck is out as they dont make them for the 34 std model. I was wondering if anyone has attempted to modify the existing pump so it doesnt take the packing (Bearings, better bushes etc)..... Anyone know why the new style is not available specifically only for the 34 std?

If I can recall, it may be something to do with the shaft length or where the fan runs in relation to the rad. You guys correct me here if I am wrong.

Easy, the '33 & '34 standard water pump body is very different then the maters. If i remember right, the standard pump is in the head and master is in the block.

I found the original bushing/packing type pump to be very relieable on my 1934 Master.
