1. Is the sliding latch on the 39 the only differance? Can the 39s fit a 37/38?

2. Can you reverse them side to side by swapping the top pivot bracket?

3. All passenger cars are the same? Coupe or sedan? Im sure the open cars are differant.

Craig,

Well, from what I understand, the 39 was a stand-alone in just about every thing about it. Conversely, except for some minor cosmetic attempts to improve the looks of it the 38 was identical to the 37. You just can't polish a t--d. They failed. Thats why the 39 was so different from the 38. Is too!

Accordingly, I would assume the the quarter windows would be different. Having said that the information will now come out of the woodwork saying I'm wrong. Just wait a second or two. Agrin

In pictures they look darn close!

And the gasket being sold everywhere for the vent windows the vendors sell one part number for 37/38/39

So Im thinking maybe the chrome vent window frame is the same?

Charlie's knows something about polishing a turd. He's been trying to polish his '41 for quite a while now.
