Can someone tell me what watt light bulbs go in my 1929 tail/brake light? The original book says 15 candle power and 3 candle power, how does that relate to watts?
Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul: The 1929 Chevy tail light used two light bulbs, a #63 (tail light) and a #87 (stop light). Both bulbs are 6 volts naturally, and the breakdown on each bulb is as follows:

#63 3 candlepower .63 Amps 4.41 Watts
#87 15 candlepower 1.91 Amps 12.89 Watts
