Does any one know the correct casting number for a 1934 Master Fly wheel. The ring gear on my Fly wheel looks like it needs to be replaced and I wanted to make sure that it's correct before I went to that expense. The casting number on it is 837248. It also has C 28 5 on it. There are also very few timing marks. Just U/C and 5.
Thanks
John

Check your casting number again.....it should be 837243, not 837248. According to your casting date your flywheel was made on March 28th of 1935.

According to the parts book your flywheel fits all 1934 and 1935 models except for series DC and EA.

Thanks for your help. If I use my imagination a little the last number could be an 8 instead of a 3. It hard to tell sometimes when part of the number is missing.
