I have already done that with a two page article and 4 pictures of the radio in the G&D. The series was started in 1985 and was stopped in 1990. The number of Chevrolet radios from the 364441 to 985877 is 75 articles/radios. I would be glad to copy and send you the 75 items for $25.00 and postage. Several members copied the items when they were originally posted as I have seen members with booklets of my articles at swap meets so they may make correct purchases/and dealers can prove the radio they have for sale. I will copy each article for $10.00 each model and mail to you. Add for postage.

I provide each person who purchases a radio from me a COPY of my article and a COPY of the Owners Manual free of charge.

So I guess this one is supposed to be a 46-48 radio also...even though it says it's a 1942.

Check the serial number on the radio for C-42, C-46, C-47, and C-48. This will identify the radio for the exact year.

It is a beautiful '41. As for the radio, if it came at a good price, fits the dash and is attractive, is operational and, most of all, it suits Brandon, it tickles me to death.

Antique mechanic,
It's a C42. That's why I keep saying I've got a 1942 radio. Oh well. I built this car for me and no one else. I've enjoyed the last 2,000 miles of driving it. It draws a lot of attention too. You should see the valet parking attendants when I tell them....I'd better park this one after I drop my wife off at the front door:)

Thanks to everyone else for the positive comments.

Quote
It's a C42.

That closes the discussion.
