Have sent you replies re mark taylors friend who has the 35-36 cylinder heads. plus his address etc. I also got an email from ray in Illinois USA who has some 35-36 head gaskets he wants to sell. Sent you copies of both emails, its all yours, have fun. mike lynch

well, Turns out Peter, that the guy who has the cylinder heads for sale in NSW , is the same guy that SOLD YOU THE CAR 18 years ago.. Talk about full circle, do you get to exercise the extended warranty ?????????????? lmao mike

hi mike,
yes I went to see Ron yesterday (Tuesday) and bought a new head, that is now in at the engine place awaiting a crack testing report.
It is indeed a small world, 18 years and we meet again under the most favorable conditions.
I had an enjoyable 5 hours talk and guided tour of rons sheds and great piles of spare parts. :aust:
Thank you for your help in this matter, the spirit of the forum lives on and on......
PS: the extended warranty ran-out the day before I went to Ron's place.......bummer
