Sunday morning slowdown again.....

We had "strong visits" from Luxembourg and Russia.

It may have been Snowden in Russia

Since I hunted several gremlins out of my computer I have had no problems with Chatter though I am generally online while most of the US are snoring.

Now the current server time is incorrect and when I try to change it in My Preferences, it won't change.

I just gave a reply to a stsrting problem. Couldn't find the reply on top of the list. Went to page three and there it was. Has happened before. Is it me or????

Still shaking some bugs out of the upgrade... Time posts appear to be the last things to resolve.

Keep trying, and testing... I'm working it until it's fixed.

I have made several posts in other forums and they all worked fine and with the correct time. Still having issues with resetting the current posts but I did find that if someone makes on new post on that subject and in that forum the current posts will then reset.

The "Edit" feature is now gone. It was available earlier today.

"Edit" feature of what? where?

I see it at the bottom of all topics... Which location are you talking about?

Note: All posts made since 1 am this morning were time-stamped 8 hours too late... I've now reset the forum clock, but those postings will remain sorted at the top of ACTIVE POSTS until the "real" clock catches up and then they'll fall back into the list.

It is the normal Edit feature that appears at the bottom of a new post. Whenever someone makes a new post it says "Edit" at the bottom of the post for one hour. After that the post cannot be edited. Every new post that I have made less than an hour ago does not have the Edit feature. This is how a new post appears now:

A new post should have the following at the bottom of the post for one hour:

As it stands now, a post cannot be edited at all after the post is made.

Okay... I see...

Since the posting times are messed up for any posts between 1 am and noon today -- the EDIT trigger won't work properly. The one hour edit window was "thrown off" by my changes to the master server clock.

Make a new posting and see it the EDIT shows up on it on your second visit. It should work okay as long as the clock times aren't modified any more.

I was just now able to log in.

No edit feature after I made the post.

This is a test: It is now 8:15 PM PST. Checking to see if the Edit feature was reactivated after 8:00 PM PST.

Edit feature now visible and working. Time shows that I posted 1 minute and 33 seconds ago.

VCCA logo gone again and the PM notification has returned to default. Seems like every time a change is made to CC these two features default. I have reset both features.

After resetting the VCCA logo and the PM notification, both features are now working again. Looks like other members will probably have to do the same.
