I buttoned up the axle shaft swap this afternoon on the '47 Coupe. I took it for a nice leasurely cruise. I had no idea that this car was capable of such a fine ride.

Quiet and smooth. Unbelievable. The original axles must have been ailing for years. I had no baseline to go by, because when I bought the car, it was a runner, but it was always had a rather busy "Growl" to it. I just assumed it was the nature of the car. At 45mph it was every bit a fine of ride as a brand new car. Now I need to put on Miles before snow flies.

I am still in shock.
