Don't understand the question.....are you refering to the cylinder head on the engine or the brake master cylinder?

Hello Sweden,

I believe Bengt is asking if he can bore out his master cylinder to 1 1/16" from 1" on his '37 and get parts.

Bengt, the filling station http://www.fillingstation.com/
has brake rebuild kits but I don't know if you need to bore the cylinder out. Maybe if you call or write them. (if you want, email me, I'll write the question in English for you.)

Kanter's has rebuilt master cyliders for $150 US/ w exchange. http://www.kanter.com/

There are probably other suppliers and I'm sure someone will know.

What about the option of re-sleeving (stainless steel or brass) the master cylinder to standard bore? There are a number of companies in the USA that do this. Maybe in Sweden as well? I am not advocating any particular company. But here are links to some companies that re-sleeve brake cylinders:

Karp\'s Brake Service
Sierra Specialty Automotive
Apple Hydraulics
Brake and Equipment Warehouse
White Post Restorations

Yes, I would suggest having a sleve installed...it will then last forever as it will not rust.
