OP kwchevy1940 Oil Can Mechanic Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 714 Central Kentucky	Does any body know where I can get the specs to manufacture the v radiator rod on a 1940 SD? this will complete the engine compartment on my car. Since there wasn't one on the car when I got it. I have not been able to find a support rod in a long while that's available. If no specs are available, what is the diameter of the rod and thread used to attached to fire wall and I'll try to fashion one. I remember the listing said it's off of a '40. The reason it came up in my search results was because he also had it listed as fitting a '38 but I doubt that it would actually fit.
