Does anyone have a picture of a 1931 roadster showing the correct routing of the windshield wiper tubing? Thanks.

If you don't have a picture, a good description will suffice. I know on the 32 roadster, the tubing is routed through the sidearm. This isn't possible on the 31 so it must be routed externally on the side arm with flexible connections at the top and bottom. Also it has to come through the cowl/dashboard somewhere close to the sidearm.

On my '31 roadster, the tubing emerges from the hole in the dash, and it goes into a 1/2 moon hole right above the lower windshield hinge. It emerges from the 1/2 moon hole right below the upper hinge. The tubing has a short loop at the bottom to allow the windshield to go down. I believe this is the correct routing.
There is a hole about 1 1/2 inches from the bottom hinge that is not used. I don't know what its purpose is. I've taken some photos, but I haven't figured out how do attach them(sorry Bill Barker, I tried).

Hi Al, Thanks for the response. I would like to see your pictures. Please e-mail them to me at oldcarz@aol.com. The round hole in the side arm is for a rubber bumper. I believe the Filling Station or Steele Rubber has them. Thanks again. Frank

Hi I have looked for that conversation and cannot find it. I am also interested in the correct routing of the vacuum line for a 31 roadster.
