I bought a 1927 Chevy about a year ago, from a guy that bought it 4 years ago from an owner in Arizona. I just looked under the front seat and found a License Plate (blue) that had VCCA on top and in the middle it had Durango Tour than at the bottom was 19 24 66. The car was registered as Arizona Historical with 1966 plates on the rear. I was wondering if there is a way to see who participated in the Tour and possible find this owner. Its my guess that he had it a long time and did most of the work on it. Any one have an idea?

Any Pictures of the vehicle ?? Serial Number, Data Plate, etc...
Might make it easier to find the Owner with this info.

Don't know where the Boss hid the Durango Tour book. Once she gets back I should be able to see the listed "Tourists" who listed a '27 for the tour. What body style? That should help pinpoint the owner.

The plates are Arizona Historical 1966, the Touring Car is Green on black fenders. I don't know how to upload a photo, any help would be nice.

The VCCA Durango National 4 Cylinder Tour held June/July 1999 had one 1927 Touring listed in the roster. It belonged to a VCCA member in Kansas.

VMCCA is the Verteran Motor Car Club of America. Maybe the 1966 tour was one of theirs. Here's the link to the VMCCA site: http://www.vmcca.org/You may want to try contacting them also on this hunt. Let us know if you have any luck. Happy Motoring, Dan
