The XG part indicates the car was built in Elizabethtown South Africa by General Motors South African PTY. Limited:

The AC part indicates the 1929 model "International", and the following numbers are the sequential build number, starting with 1001 (?).

Happy Motoring,

Dan

Thank you Dan,

Can you guys also assist in this engine detail.

There is 2 transmission housings, which one is the right one for 29. One on floor or blue one on engine?
Is this a 29 tourer engine?

Neither the engine or the bell housings are correct for 1929. Looks like the engine is from a 1941-48 Chevrolet (839401 head casting). What are the casting numbers on the block?

Chipper is correct....neither transmission bellhousing is correct! They are for a later model engine and the engine shown in the photos is not a 1929 either. It looks like the engine is a much later 216.

In 1929 a stamped steel transmission support was used instead of a cast iron bell housing and the transmission was attached to the stamped steel transmission support from the inside of the support.

It is a shame when someone purchases a car assuming it has the right parts only to find later it has major parts from a different year Chevy. Sometimes the seller knows that the parts are not right. In all cases the seller should check to know what he is selling.

....And, the buyer should be educated as to what he is purchasing instead of taking the seller's word for what is correct. As they say...."let the buyer beware".
