OK! As long as I FINALLY have the front and rear fenders off for grinding down to the bare metal for painting, I decided that now would be an optimum time to replace the shocks. A couple years ago, I thought they were available from both Chevs of the 40's and Filling Station, but apparently, I was wrong. Now all I find are fronts from Chevs of the 40's for $375. Does anyone know where I can get rears? The car bounces like a Baskeball now and they do need replacing.

Oh yeah. And ditto for the steering box. It's at the end of it's adjustment (I think) and still has more "play" than I remember when it was "new" (25,000 miles on it in 1956).

Hey DocB,

I see rear shocks on eBay from time to time. If you strike out, give me an email.
