I replaced all the wood in my 29 Landau and had a great experience with Autowood Restoration, Jim Rodman in Hanna, Indiana. You can google Auto Wood Restoration and look at his website.

I am not sure it is reasonable, but you can do the wood yourself. When I retired I started the restore on my 29. I thought it needed "some" wood, it actually needed virtually all wood. A piece at a time, using the old wood as a pattern and I was able to get it done. The hardest piece was the front seat.

I replaced/repaired about 50% of the wood on my '31 Coach, ash for structural stuff, poplar for rest), I have the woodworking gear so doing it myself was just a matter of following the old patterns, and time and patience. The front door posts were the biggest challenge to get right, I would buy them if I was doing it again.

oldflyboy59, what year car are you working on? I rebuilt my 31 coupe with wood from Rodman and it went together pretty easily. There are pictures of the wood frame on Bill Barkers 31 site. Good luck with your project.

I have never seen one for the touring or roadster. Fisher Body cars have illustrations like the one above.

I agree with chipper, Never seen one , the 1932 parts book only has a parts list for wood for the roadster, but nothing for the phaeton. And no illustrations for either of them.

the 1934 issues of the chevrolet service news, CANADA, had drawing and dimensions of the 1934 chevrolet standard series roadster and the 1934 master series roadster.

i do not know what particular months they were in the 1934 service news, only know where the blue print type pages came from.

Mike, I actually emailed a copy of measurements of a 1931 sedan wood sill to get Yuval started on his wood project a while a go.

Jack,
I started on the wood work, almost finished.
I would like very much if I had the illustrations.
thanks

Hi Yuval,
Glad to hear you are going well with the woodwork. as was said earlier ,unfortunatley there is not available any wood work drawing for the phaeton of 1931.
