Last I checked, I was the HIGH BIDDER. ha ha... But still below the reserve. At least I can now say that I once bid on a car owned by Jim Thorpe!!!
yay yipp

When I told my wife tonight that I bid on a car on eBay, she dang near had a fit. It got so cold in here, the furnace kicked on. But, the silence around here now, is actually quite pleasant.

It wasn't me. Someone with the name of c***c was the last bidder.

I dropped out after my very first bid was so rudely trounced upon. Ha ha.... At least I can tell my grandkids that I was once in the running for Jim Thorpe's car.

Now wait a minute BB. I didn't trounce on you. Just eased gently past you. Bruce, not me either.

Ha ha....

You know we are a bunch of dumb bunnies. If we had all gone in together and paid $10k each, then we could have bought this with no problem at all!!! Then each of us could have possessed it for about six weeks each year!!!

Who knows? Perhaps in only 10 years we will be kicking ourselves in the butt. The problem, of course, is convincing our bankers that this is a proven highly desirable car and can only go up in value.

Would you like to discuss the property I have for sale?
