Were these factory install when a radio was ordered and when did the field warning tag get added??

All radios for your car were dealer installed. The installation kit included the by-pass condensers with instructions how to install them. As to the circular instruction ring for the generator----can't answer your question. Don't remember finding in any of my radio kits. I do have a NOS kit for the 1949 radio and will take a look in there today and see if it is present. Nice meeting you at Federal Way. Your car is even better than the pictures.

Ray,thanks for the kind words! I installed a radio by-pass condenser the other day and am amazed with the great clairity I now have..I also put the red circular warning tag around the generators field terminal and realy don't like the look and am planning on removing it if it was not originally dealer installed...Let me know what you find
