Yes, I feel the pain too.
I've been modifying some settings for the past couple of hours, but haven't found the "magic" yet.

I also had the same problem in Texas at the same time. If you look at the time of posts on Active Topics there is a long gap at that time.

Likewise. My first attempt was at 10:10AM CDT. It was so slow I did a tracert and ping. By the time they were done chat finally loaded but it was very sluggish. It's now 12:35PM CDT and the problem still exists.
