The baby blue 1928 Touring that was the test chassis for the 1928 engine that was used as the model, for the almost year long discussion of engine building and a few other topics, has driven down the road. The new owner took possession on 18 August 2013.

It did not go far and is still within visiting distance.

Those who were around when the "School is in Session" was being put together, said the engine would never be as clean and sanitary, as it was when completed. Take my word for it, the engine was still presentable. Oil leaks were at an absolute minimum and it still purred like a kitten. As it left the driveway, it had accumulated 5,900 miles and had never faltered. The Touring had served it's purpose and needed to go to make room for the current project, a 1928 Convertible Sport Cabriolet.
