I can't even imagine doing that in a rig like mine... Tires, seat belt, top, no arms on the seats... Yep - pretty sure I don't want to do 90 in mine. 50 might be pushing it... Maybe 60... OK - after driving it for a while, 70....

With a little more time to get comfortable, 80 might be fun.

Back to reality... I was checking the Overland site. Seems the rear-end in mine must be a 4.5 ratio... I doubt that little motor could turn that many rev's without a lot of work.

It has 18" Chevy Wires on the front. I put motor cycle wheels on them and seem to have installed them 'un even'. I believe the wheels are OK, but the tires appear to have a twist, causing quite a bounce in the front end. Can't even use high gear, much less open it up in second...

But it's running and driving... Oh, yeah, and stopping!

Speaking of stopping... There must be springs on the rods, to pull them back from applying brakes? Seems the brake adjusters on the front wheels will spring back, if I manually pull the brake rod back. I'm thinking the spring must must mount at the point, mid-ship, where the linkage goes from the center of the car to the outside of the frame.

Does anyone know about that???

Ed....
