I'm working on the door panels of my '41 coupe, and I'm about to re-cover the arm rests. Has anyone got a picture of what they should look like? Thanks, Sid

Is it a Master Deluxe or a Special Deluxe?

Master Deluxe did have arm rests. It was an accessory and they were covered in all cloth where as the S.D. had cloth and leather. With your email address I could send you a picture of the S.D.

You can see the arm rest in my car. I had an interior shop fix mine back exactly like the original except I used gray cloth and vinyl instead of the browns. I can get you close-up pictures when I get home later this week if you'd like. ![[Linked Image from i1278.photobucket.com]](http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/y513/slimerboy/D16ED3D0-BFEE-4B0D-B97B-4F7580EE21A9-2737-0000029C240FCB08.jpg)

Brandon, The photo gives a good look of what the door handle, arm rest, whatever, looks like. Charlie BTW: What are the seat belts for. Is that so that in case of a Prowler a-running into you, you can do more damage to the windshield and steering wheel when you double over from the waist? Just kidding. Good addition.

Thanks for the pics Brandon and Gene, and thanks Charlie for your thoughts. Your levity makes this forum an even greater place to be. The arm rests I removed from my coupe have the leatherette only on the top. Hopefully my upholstery guy can wrap them like shown in your pictures. Sid

Charlie, I installed seat belts so that I will only meet the dash and not the hood ornament and yellow line;)
I will get close up pics for you soon at various angles so your upholstering guy will know exactly what to do.

Master Deluxe did have arm rests. It was an accessory and they were covered in all cloth where as the S.D. had cloth and leather. With your email address I could send you a picture of the S.D. Just to make sure we understand, the M D did NOT come equipped with arm rests. They were an accessory. The MD did come with arm rests.

Thanks for the help guys. I got my armrests back from the upholstery shop yesterday. They look great, and they look correct, thanks to the information you provided. Sid
