Me and the wife went to IOLA 13 for the 16th straight year last month. ( Very Large Annual Car show and swap meet here in Wisconsin)We always go for the full 4 day event and walk endless miles through all 4000+ swap spaces. she is trooper!! Through the years we have brought home everything from gas pumps to soda machines. But this year.... Sitting on a small table with a bunch of rusted junk you would normally walk by, there it was!! An original accessory "Umbrella holder" with a price tag of $40 on it!!!! For some reason this has been one of my wives favorite accessories for years and have always looked for one. Luckily me and my buddy were without the wives when I found it. So we hid if for the entire weekend. Tonight was our wedding anniversary the look on her face when she opened her door and saw the holder will be something I will never forget.........

Bruce, contact Charlie. I think he is making a list for the big shows coming up here in the next few months.

While my wife was understanding and went along with all the old car stuff I am afraid I would be looking for a different wife if I would have given her a part for a wedding annversary... yay

If you really want to make her happy give her my '39 for her birthday.

Now Gene I don't think I could pull that one off. She KNOWS I love your 39!! That beautiful 39 of yours is second only to the 34 you used to have in my eyes!! By the way we ran into Charlie and Gene C up in IOLA. He is still tinkering with the 34. Your old 34 and Toms (RIP) 41 were two of the prettiest cars I have ever seen. The time you let me drive the 34 is still a very fond memory to me!!
