That's a shame. We thank our lucky stars that nothing has happened to us previously... They were being cautious and it's a real shame that it happened.
Last year, I lost my rear brakes and had to drive the remaining leg of our 6-cylinder Tour from Hearst Castle (along the Pacific Ocean) clear to Visalia (at the other side of California) with only two brakes.... traveling at 50+ mph with the rest of the group. Was very tense the entire trip (which took two days) and extremely alert. But the situation that happened in Utah is just not foreseeable.
