Originally, did the same key which fit the ignition fit the door lock also ('31 Sp. Sedan) or were the two locks different, thus requiring two different keys?

The key for the electrolock is different than the key for the passenger side door since the two locks were not the same.

Thanks for the replies. When I got my car (23 years ago) someone had already removed the electrolock thus requiring a different ignition key. It was the only key I got with the car. I have the electrolock (which likely will need rebuilt) and had a new key set made for it. Those keys do not fit the door lock so today I took the tumbler out of the door lock to a locksmith and will get my new door keys tomorrow.

Best regards,

Tom
