Anyone know the history of the so-called "Banjo" or "Fry pan" oil fill cap? Was it a 1938 Chevy accessory? Was it for later than 38 models? thx. Billu38

The cap with a handle on it was used in production for 1935 and 1936. Was not a 1938 item.....something you saw on ebay?
