I need the original length of the 57 driveshaft so I can pick one out at a salvage yard. Please include how the measurement is made, i.e. center of the U joint or some other method.
I lost all my original parts when my wife divorced!

The late 1955 and all 1956 and 1957 use the same drive shaft. It is 55 1/4" long. That is from the very tip to tip.
