Anyone know where I can find those little square brass blocks that connect the brakes lines to the rear wheel cylinders. Parts book calls it banjo block and it has a hollow bolt going through it with two brass washers.. Mine are toast, vise grips was too much for it.
Thanks, Mike

The part # is 476100 and fits from 1936-1950...Try National Chevy Assoc....they list misc. brake fitting in their catalog and may have good used ones from a 1949 or 1950...or try ChevyB at bwbugay@aol.com

Chevgene, do you know if this brass block was the same as they used on the 36-50 chev p/u truck? Jim Carter Classic Truck parts lists brass blocks and hollow bolts in their catalog for 36-50 ALL, but they are truck guys and don't know if it was the same that came on passenger vehicles...
Thanks, Mike

It was used in all Chevrolet cars and trucks from 1936-1950....and in 1951-52 3/4 and 1 ton trucks.
