I have a small tractor in Sapulpa Oklahoma I need transported to Vancouver, WA. Within the next 60 days or so. It is a Farmall Cub.

ray,
not sure if you moved your tractor yet, but i have moved a old cushman and a 2-man rail car by using U-ship.com And if you are willing to pay for a way to get it loaded (i used a tow truck) i was able to move it very cheaply

I am using plan "B". I will return with the Cub in the back of a 1986 C-10.

It looks like I will not be able to make the trip back there to pick up a truck and the tractor until next year. I will load the tractor on the truck and drive the 2000+ miles back.

Ray,
I was wondering if you are still planning your trip to Sapulpa, Ok this spring to pick up your tractor. I have purchased a fender from another VCCA member (Vern Toedtli)there in Vancouver & need to make arangements to get it to Tulsa, 5 miles from Sapulpa. If you are still coming & would not mind hauling it back for me I would gladly pay you a fair price for doing so. I'm in no rush so whenever you are planning the trip would be fine with me. Please let me know.

Hi Jerry, plans are constantly changing. None of the plans include driving from Vancouver to Sapulpa. Option #1 is for me to fly to Sapulpa and when I have taken care of all the situations back there, load the tractor in the truck and drive back home. Option #2 is for my son to fly back and return with the truck and tractor. My older brother was diagnosed with terminal cancer some 16 months ago and given 6 months to live. He is still alive and in relatively good shape and just this month celebrated his 90th birthday.

Ray,
I'm sorry to hear about brother sounds like he is a tough person. Just trying to find a way to get my fender here without taking the chance on greyhound's bus shuffling from one to another till it arrived here. It's hard to package a 40 chevy front fender because of the bulk. Thank You for your time!

Actually, Greyhound is a satisfactory method of shipping. It all depends on the attitude of the driver. Your other option would be freight. Just remembered, moving companies are also a means of shipping.
