What size bolts fit into the steering wheel that would attach to the puller?

Thanks in advance.

Bill, I had to tap the existing holes in the hub of the steering wheel where the two legs of the horn button enter. I used a 10-32 tap, then I used long screws and a home-made puller.

I tried using a 10-32 bolt. It appears to be about the right diameter but the wrong thread. I was thinking I might have to tap it. Thanks.

The screws to attach the puller to the steering wheel are typically 5/16"18 or M8-1.25, with some 1/4"-20 or M6-1.0 in use as well.

rbl2,
The holes are not tapped. You will have to cut threads in the holes so you can use the 10-32 machine screws. Will probably also need one or more washers on the screw head depending on the puller (so the screws done pull through the puller arms).

Everything has been removed, rebuilt, re-installed and adjusted. I have yet to drive it but I already know there are adjustment problems. I'll find out tomorrow.
