With a black object on a dark background the details are hard to see. You might want to try taking a photo of the black springs on a white background so that we can see more of the details.

I'm in the midst of restoring a '31 Coach and have not encountered any springs that look like any of these. So if they are from your car, that may suggest you start by looking at "sport roadster" specific stuff, i.e. the top, or rumble seat mechanism, the seat adjustment (if there is one),etc. They look like pretty stiff springs, and do not resemble the springs on mine servicing the accelerator linkage, door stops, clutch, or brakes, Is there a possibility they are not for your car at all?
