OP 39chevyaker Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: May 2005 Posts: 132 Point Roberts, WA	I have what looks like an original horn relay on the firewall but wires hanging where possibly a headlight relay was. I looked at a schematic for 38/39 Chev and it does not show a horn relay or a headlight relay? :confused:

Bowtie Bob ChatMaster - 1,000 Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 1,050 Alvaton, KY.	No headlight relay was installed on '37 Chevys and I suspect the same is true for '38's & '39's, as well. My guess is that at some time, after sealed beams became available in the early 40's, the car was retro-fitted with sealed beams and a relay was installed at that time. -Bob -BowTie Bob
