I have posted an image in member's photos of what I have for a fuel pump. I had assumed that it was original but now that I have attempted to rebuild it with an FS rebuild kit, I find I was wrong I guess.
My assessment is that it can't be rebuilt. Is that correct? Assuming it is, I guess I'll have to start looking for another one.
Oh yes, the numbers: on the arm: 1521467 and on the flange: 9568

Yes, that fuel pump can be rebuilt. It is a later fuel pump (replacement) that will work on your '31 but you will need to have the correct kit to rebuild it. The kit that you purchased from the Filling Station is for the stock AC-405 pump instead.

Hi gachap
I can rebuild the fuel pump you show in the picture or I can put together the correct looking fuel pump for you car. The fuel pump that you have on your car now is actually fitted for industrial engine applications. I will send you a PM. If for some reason you don't get it, e-mail me at bob@marxparts.com for more info.
Regards Bob@marxparts
