I am changing the carb on my '48 coupe for many reasons. I lucked out and got a NOS carb. It has the bracket for the hand choke and throttle cables. No problem hooking up the choke but the throttle is a different matter. The one on the car now was cut off at the bracket and not connected to the foot throttle so I don't have anything to go on as to how to hook it up. Can someone please post some photos showing how this is done. Obviously there is something missing. The existing foot throttle rod may not even be the correct one to use with a hand throttle as the engine is a '57 and the foot throttle linkage may be from that model. In any case, there is no apparent way to connect the hand throttle. Thanks. Beamer

My W-1, you didn't say what carb you have.
