The '37 MD had apple knee actions installed two years ago, still doing fine. The front end is tight. Wheel bearing are adjusted properly. Tire pressure is at the manual spec. At low speeds, under 40 MPH she wanders all over the road. Michigan roads are nothing to brag about, but when you get her over 45, she seems to steer just fine, There is little problem keeping her straight in the lane. Bring her back down below 40 and she starts to wander again. I'd like to go 55 everywhere, but the local constabulary get really touchy about that.

The first two things that come to mind are steering gear adjustment and front end alighment.

I agree with Chevgene, remove any out of spec freeplay in all of the steering components. Then align everything per the book, I have found a couple of vehicles that required a little extra caster to stop wander.
