I think that the Filling Station gets their mats from I&I and I heard that there were issues in getting the mats.

Good Day Everyone.
I had runningboard mats for my 32 Chev coupe that were about an inch too short. I stretched them about an inch beyond the metal runningboard. Then clamped them upside down on the running board and heated them with a propane torch. The torch had an adaptor that spread the flame out. Move the torch quickly over the entire mat so it doesnt melt. I had to do it a couple of times because when they are unclamped and cool; they will shrink a little. It worked for me. Good luck.
Bye for now.

Heat is a good idea! I'm going to try the bright Sunshine on a hot day for a few days. Al W.

Yep, I used the sunshine method. I agree that you should bring this inside at night to let them cool. Then put them outside again the next day. Do this a couple of times until you can leave the rubber alone without any clamps.

i & i is the one that owns the molds and has the mats made when they deem there is sufficient demand to make another run. That maybe 2--5 years !!! In the mean time get yourself on the WANTED LIST at I & I.. Filling station gets theirs from I & I along with everybody else.

We have been hearing that same story from Wendy for many years. Don't know why she would be out of mats when she owns the molds for the running board mats.
