found 3ea "Autolite MF " and 1ea "MBF" starter at an estate auction. The auctioneer said the deceased owner was a vintage Chevy buff. Does anyone know if these were used in vintage Chevy's, which year? which engine sizes? what brush part number did they use, the armature # is MF2077 , haven't taken the MBF apart yet. Are these rare or still available from time to time?

thanks. ron

I know it's not a very fresh thread, but I know the Autolite MF starters were used in early 20s Durant 4 cylinder A-22s. To that end, if you are looking to part with it, I might be interested. Thanks.
