Contact Steve Kassis at the Filling Station since I think that these windshield regulator kits are now available again. I heard that Dick Moffitt was making them, but you can confirm that with Steve at the Filling Station. laugh

Topdollardanb, here is another source for windshield regulator parts. Greg Coleman (Coley) he was making kits for the 29-31 V V windshield regulators, his kit came with all new housing, gears and new rod. All he required is that you send him the crankshaft from your old one so he could cast the new gear on the shaft. I provided the pattern samples for the kit and have one for my 29 Coach and it works smooth as silk. He had a fire at his shop last year and I don't know if he had any spare kits on hand or if he is even up and running again yet but drop him a note and he maybe able to help you out.

Here is his email synka2@aeroinc.net

Kirk :p chevy (OH, I like this one)

If you want to upgrade, you can use a 28. It is stamped steel and it only rusts, it doesn't biodegrade like the zinc diecast ones we have. I heard that Buick ones will fit too.

The best upgrade yet is from a 1932. The 1932 windshield regulators are all stamped steel and they can be retrofitted into the 1929-31 models. Since the regulator handle is in a slightly different location, the windshield regulator board should be changed also. bigl  :p

I Found a place in St. Louis. Gary Wallace. 314.293.1991. He has new and reconditioned regulators.
