I have seats out of a 2000 Silverado pickup in my 41, they have the seat belts in them. They fit with only making spacers for the outside tracks, and I made plates to reinforce the floor. If you have 12 volt system you could get the power ones, they have the switches in the seat so you only need to run hot and ground to the seat.

Thanks for the reply. I was planning on the power seats, I measured my truck and car it it doesnt appear they will be to tall without the head rest? Am I right or not? Is there enough room between the seats for a console??

I have a console out of a 97 S-10, they had a floor shifter and that's what I have. You may be able to find something that did not have a floor shifter that would work.

Could I talk you into emailing a couple pictures of your 41 seats from the side view...please? And, how difficult is the access to the rear seat? rbrigg03@gmail.com

Thanks, Richard Briggs

I will get some pictures and send. Back seat access is ok, I run the seat forward and my seats have the easy access feature that tilts the back forward and will go back to the same position that the back was in.

I am guessing the seats came from a 2 door Tahoe since the pass side flips forward for access. They look great and appear to fit nice. Gonna be hard to find seats from a 2 door Tahoe though! Maybe I could find the tracks easier though.

The extended cab pickups with two doors have seats that flip forward for rear seat access.

Talked with a guy a few weeks back who used a 60/40 out of a 80's Gran Prix in his 41. Said the seats bolted in using the stock bench seat holes, needed new ones in the center. He said 40 side for the driver was very comfy, the 60 had an armrest that you could put up or down.

Ya got to drive'em

Regular cab pickups will work, the 2000 I had would recline or tilt forward for access to the storage behind the seat. The only problem with that style you have to adjust the angle each time.

Well, I looked around today. Found a nice 40/60 Cadillac but just dont think I would get the support I need. Found a set of buckets in a 2000 Denali all power and heat, got them for $100! And he says he has parts for a 48 grill for me also! Go back to get them on Tuesday, he needs to pull the parts etc. Now I have to find a wiring schematic and figure out how to wire it up. The 2000 Denal does not have the seat belt built in, so I can leave off the headrest and have them recovered and they will be the same height as my original 48 seat. Have to get them mounted and hooked up for a test ride till I can get them recovered. Hopefully no more back ache! Still need to find rails from a two door extended cab so the seat will flip on the pass. side it sounds like.

The Denali seats are working out great. They have a huge amount of adjustment and back seat entry is a breeze partly because the seat backs flip forward. But I discovered I need to find a good transmission hump cover. Mine is not in good shape at all. Let me know if someone has one.
