Anyone know how much of a 39 Master deluxe had it's interior painted rose-tan? I have seen some with everything painted rose-tan and some with just the dash and everything else is brown. Where do i find rose-tan paint?

Thanks,
Mike

The Master DeLuxe had the following painted tan.Steering wheel, horn button, steering column, shift lever (floor or column),hand brake handle.upper part of dash from about inst. cluster and up,lower part of dash-like below glove box door and across to the left side. The center panel of dash if it dosen't have a radio. The glove box door ,to the right of door and matching area on left side is dark wood grain as are all the window garnish mouldings.Grove on side garnish mouldings is silver.

The lower priced Master 85 did not have wood grain on the dash.

Where to find the color-As I answered on the other site it is not being sold as such.Years ago I used Pueblo Tan from a 1934 Chevrolet exterior color on my steering column. The Peublo tan is very close to a Mercedes color from around 1958-62.The VCCA paint advisor could look it up for you-if you are a VCCA member. If not I would encourage you to join as this is just an example of the clubs benefits. wink
