As I begin the process of rewiring my 29 truck I've found that most of my existing wires have faded (?) to a honey color. Was there a guide for wire colors or tracers that Chevrolet used during this period that will inform me as I select the correct wires?

Possibly one of the wiring harness suppliers can supply you with a diagram. Also I had good luck with enhancing the wire colors by spraying with wd-40. Try Rhode Island Wiring 800-241-1955.

Thanks Steve6.
I'll give those suggestions a try.
