I am looking for suggestions for outside mirrors (RH & LH) to fit on a 32 sedan. Can't see much out of the original except whats directly behind me and hopeing to cut down the stress on the navigator. Who knows, if I add directionals I might even be able to change lanes without causing an accident.

Probably the mirors that attach to the top of the doors would be best . I find that I continually have to adjust the mirrors on my side mount tires. They are hard to see anything at best.

you really only need a drivers side outside rear view mirror. i had a r s mirror and it was really useless, makes more sense to turn head to see whos there, if anyone. my inside rear view is angled to pick up anybody coming up on the rs.

i would think that both the filling station and I&I repo will have something appropriate. Most likely peep mirrors at about 4" round, its what i am running. Because i am in a 3 w coupe i still get my head partially outside to check behind me when changing lanes.

Signals wired in and operated thru the head lights or cowl lights are an excellent safty feature, wouldn't be without them.

The inside rear view on a sedan does not help much for the rh side. I have one stretch on an intertstate highway where I have to crossover 4 lanes within a mile so where the rh would come in handy. Especially when I'm traveling at 55-60 mph and the traffic is probably going 65-75. I can avoid that stretch, but it means going thru city traffic and a few more miles. I appreciate the info and do agree the signal lights would be most helpful.

I had a machinist friend modify a pair of motorcycle mirrors and mount them to the door hinges on my '31 coupe. They work very well. If anyone is interested, send me a PM with your email address, and I'll send some pictures.

We added those 4" side peep clamp on mirrors from FS and they look great but they really didn't provide much visibility until we added extenders. FS probably sells them too but stumbled into them on Synders and with the added turn signals making right hand turns just became more normal. For me without the extenders those peep mirrors couldn't be turned enough and they just made the right kind of difference.
