Hello Everyone,

I have removed the grill in an attempt to straighten the lower section. From this pic you can see the bottom section is messed up........

The three alignment braces in the back appear to be damaged, but it looks like if I try to straighten them the grill will expand and may not fit back in the shell. All of the apparent damage is on the right side of the grill.

This is the top brace......

This is the middle brace......

Would anyone have picks of a "good" '37 grill for comparison??

I went through the same adventure some years ago in repairing the grill on my '37 half ton. Except for size the '37 grills are same for cars and trucks. I can dig out some before and after photos and e-mail them to you. Send me a PM with your e-mail address.

The trucks grill was not as bent as that shown above, but I would think it is worth a shot to repair. Here is a link to the posts and help I received from some of the guys here about 4 years ago. https://vccachat.org/ubbthreads.php/topics/140803/1
