I am putting a 37 4 door back together that was partially restored some 15 years ago. I need a good picture or advise of how the hood/cowl gasket or welting or whatever you call it goes on. Looks like maybe its fastened with 3 screws on each side??? Thanks for any help you cam give me.

Are you referring to the hood lacing that goes across the cowl just aft of the engine compartment? IF it's the same as my '38 the pictures below may help.

Top passenger side:

Wow, clutch head screws. Mine has been apart for over 34 years.
My welting was basically gone. thanks for the photo.
